By placing a quirky and lovable character into context and providing an array of applications, each item will appeal to my target audience through light-hearted and innovative design.

Muku the Cyclops Owl



In my senior year at PNCA, I have been constructing the basic foundation of my thesis project.
I am exploring narrative through the medium of a product line based around character design.
My target audience is very broad, and consists of young adults from the ages 19 to 35 and kids from the ages 6 to 12.
Here are a couple images that display the basic aesthetic and style that I am headed towards.

Penanggalan

This piece is my submission for the October 2010 show at The Pony Club Gallery, called Monsterbation (a sexual explicit adult art show about monsters).
My Gouache and Ink painting is titled, Penanggalan, based off of Philippine Folklore.
